Like a Bird

“My dad, he make sure that we know that God is everything that we have and if we ever forget about God we won’t be successful in life. We always make sure that God is number 1 and then the rest will follow,” said Baraka Ntibonera.

“We were starving. He said we have to pray and believe that tomorrow we are going to have a meal, ” said John Ntibonera.

“We would pray and pray and pray, but there was no food. … someone would knock at the door, and they would bring food for us so that made me believe that anything is possible,” said Christian Ntibonera.

“We didn’t know where the food came from…that was incredible. I feel like these are signs of God miracle. We survived like birds. … Nobody take care of birds. Nobody feeds them. But who feeds them? It’s God. He is the Creator,” said John Ntibonera.

At what level do you trust God? Do you come to Him first for your every need? Do you fully trust Him? What areas of your life have you not yet yielded to Him fully? He is faithful in all things. He is the God of the details. Nothing passes by Him unnoticed. He is never caught by surprise. Every day is a good day to renew your faith and trust in Him.

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
— Matthew 6:26 (NIV)

Prayer

Father in Heaven,

Thank you that I can trust you to provide for my every need. Your Word says that whatever I ask for in Jesus’ name that You will give to me. That is an amazing gift and I am grateful for all that you provide. You know everything before I even know I need it. Please guide me every step on this journey to trust you and serve you each day.

In the mighty name of Jesus I ask and believe,
Amen
